All eyes are on Jamaica when the Miss Jamaica World contest takes place, after all, this small Caribbean island nation has produced not one, not two, but four Miss World winners over the decades! This year the contest happened on September 6th and, for the winner, the second time was a charm: 25-year-old Tahje Bennett, who was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2024 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel ballroom in New Kingston on Friday, had participated in the pageant before.
