titles and appearances are erased to make room for the essentials: values, transmission and respect
There are times when crowns, titles and appearances are erased to make room for the essentials: values, transmission and respect for our roots.
On the occasion of this Tabaski festival, I had the honor of being received at Lamido, in a setting full of history, wisdom and spirituality.
This meeting reminded me how much our culture, our traditions and our living together remain precious riches that it is up to us to preserve.
Tabaski is much more than a celebration.
It is a reminder of sacrifice, sharing, humility and love for others.
In a world sometimes marked by divisions, she invites us to return to the essentials: the human.
To the entire Muslim community of Cameroon and elsewhere, I wish a party filled with peace, blessings, family love and light.
Happy Tabaski's day to all🐏🕌
