More than a work of art, it is a plea.
The silhouette of Africa, and at its heart: the African woman. Her headscarf is not a veil that conceals; it is a crown of resilience, despite the violence she endures.
From her roots springs the Tree of Life. A tree they sought to cut down, burn, and shatter... yet it remains standing. Just like every female survivor.
My fight against violence towards women is about protecting this tree. It is about restoring each woman’s crown.
As Miss World Cameroon, I do not merely carry Africa. I carry the voice of those they sought to silence.
