In a country where periods are called dirty, in a country where some girls have never used a sanitary napkin, in a country where pad packets are wrapped in newspaper, in a country where underwear is wrapped ans worn on menstrual days, in a country where more than 90% of women have never heard of or even know about menstrual cups, in a country where mothers-in-law sister-in-law and fathers-in-laws ask why our son is embarrassed.. when he buys a pad packet from the store, in a country where a girl cannot go to the store with confidence and buy a pad packet, in that country, she fight for it and even talk to the head of the country to eliminate the tax on pad packets and plan to take action.. A girl who has gone to the world from such a country says "Let women bleed with dignity" with great self-confidence and with the moral.. that is the ways she fight for it.. Will she become a beauty queen or not? I don't know. That simple statement had made her a queen. And in every way, she looks like India's Aishwarya Rai to me. She's the #Sri_Lankan #Aishwarya_Rai.
