There was a clear lack of fairness in both costume design and judging during the modelling segment of Miss World 2025. Several contestants were given heavy, ill-fitting outfits that hindered performance, while others—particularly from the host country—received perfectly styled, lightweight attire, allowing fluid movement. Judging also appeared biased, with more deserving contestants overlooked in favor of those with less poise and stage presence. The apparent favoritism toward the host country raises serious concerns about transparency and impartiality. A global platform like Miss World must uphold values of fairness, cultural sensitivity, and equal opportunity for all participants.
