A Purpose Close to Her Heart

Before departing for Vietnam to represent Tanzania, Miss World Tanzania, Latricia lan, completed one of the projects closest to her heart; the publication of her book, "Understanding MyChild."

Written in both Kiswahili and English, the book was created to support parents and families raising children with autism by helping them better understand their children, their unique needs, and how best to support them.

As part of the initiative, Latricia distributed copies of the book to parents, creating an opportunity for families to gain knowledge, understanding, and confidence in supporting their children.
