Puerto Rico Diaries: Top Model Challenge On December 6, 2021, Miss World contestants gathered at the Distrito T-Mobile to participate in the Top Model Challenge. Miss World Canada 2020, Svetlana Mamaeva shares: “It had been a busy day, with a 4 am wake up time, but it was also one of my favourite days here at Miss World. I started modelling when I was only 5 years old and always loved the adrenaline rush from doing runway shows. It felt so surreal being backstage and realizing I am at Miss World doing what I love!” During the show, each contestant wore an outfit created by a Puerto Rican designer and an outfit that represented their home country. Miss World Canada 2020 showcased an elegant black gown embellished with gold, created by Puerto Rican fashion designer, Elda Samano. Later that evening, she modelled a white and blue gown created by a talented designer, Boogie Musni Rivera.
