The Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina pageant in our country is the oldest and most prestigious beauty pageant that has been held since 1996, and it is the only pageant that promotes beauty with a purpose through various humanitarian projects. We do useful social things, contribute to the well-being of the community, try to help people from our environment, promote humanity, volunteerism, positive values, collect funds for charitable purposes, make our contribution to the integration of society in the whole of BiH and influence positive changes in our society.
The criteria for the selection of Miss BiH for Miss World are very strict and in addition to facial beauty and good physical appearance, talent, personality, charm, communicativeness, knowledge of foreign languages, humanity, interviews, multimedia, stage performance, posing in front of the camera and video are also very important, and one of the categories is the selection for the top model of this competition. We remind you that Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014 - Isidora Borovčanin was awarded the title of Miss World Top Model 2014 among 125 countries of the world at the Miss World pageant, which represents a huge success for our country.
Hundreds of girls apply for the Miss BiH pageant every year, and they go through castings in BiH cantons and entities. Before the final selection, the girls go through castings and reach the finals where they compete for the title of Miss Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Miss Republika Srpska and Miss Brčko District. In the very final evening of Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina, 24 contestants get the chance to win the coveted title of Miss World, and the girl who wins has the great responsibility of representing her country at the Miss World pageant.
