Prathibha Liyanaarachchi, Sri Lanka’s Miss World 2026 representative, brings together a rather remarkable combination of identities - technical designer, lecturer, fashion model and First Class Honours design graduate. Her passion for design is closely connected to nature and sustainability. From upcycling and creative design to travelling, surfing, yoga, netball, traditional dance and discovering hidden beaches, Prathibha’s interests reflect a life that blends creativity with an appreciation for the world around her.
Her ambition extends beyond personal success. She hopes to become a design entrepreneur and social activist, using sustainable innovation and education to empower communities and encourage a more conscious way of living.
