Sıla Saraydemir, 22, a Social Services student at the University of Health Sciences, has been crowned Miss World Türkiye 2025, emerging as the winner among 20 finalists.

The event happened on December 19, at Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul.

She received the crown from Demet Sener, Miss World Türkiye 1995, while last year’s titleholder, Idil Bilgen, was unable to attend the ceremony due to her studies abroad.

Sıla stood out in the final round with a powerful answer, stating: “I want to be the voice for the voiceless; that is why I want to be Miss Türkiye.”

The new Miss Turkiye is already actively engaged in social work. Her ongoing project connects university students with underprivileged children for academic support and promotes education among boys and young men on preventing violence against women.

After being crowned, she shared on her social media accounts: “Today, I didn’t just receive a crown, I took on a responsibility. The Miss Türkiye title is a shared story of women who believe in their dreams, are not afraid to make their voices heard, and empower one another. I sincerely thank everyone who believed in me and supported me on this journey. Now I am ready to carry this title for hope, courage, and kindness. This is just the beginning”.

As Miss World Türkiye 2025, Sıla Saraydemir will represent her country at the 73rd Miss World Festival, in 2026.
