On September 5, 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) warmly welcomed the reigning Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, for a high-level meeting on international tourism promotion.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of TAT, hosted Opal alongside Ms. Piyaporn Saenkosik, executives from TERO Entertainment, the Miss World Organization (MWO), and TPN Global (TPNG). Together, they explored new ways of showcasing Thailand to the world by combining the global prestige of Miss World with Thailand’s unique cultural identity and soft power.

The discussion emphasized integrated public relations strategies highlighting Thailand’s culture, lifestyle, creative industries, and sustainable tourism initiatives. With Opal’s global platform and the support of her visionary team, the Miss World stage becomes a powerful avenue to share Thailand’s beauty and values with international audiences.

Looking ahead, TAT, MWO, TERO Entertainment, and TPNG, and are preparing joint campaigns and activities, including visits to tourist provinces, the creation of promotional content featuring Miss World, and meaningful CSR projects. These initiatives will not only position Thailand as a must-visit destination but also reaffirm the important role of Miss World as Culture and Tourism Ambassador.
