Melbourne hosted the Miss World Australia 2026 National Final on November 20, concluding four days of activities in the city, including the “Blooming in Spring” Gala at The Promenade Docklands. During the event, the organization introduced its new national and state ambassadors, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Miss World Australia.

Miss World Australia 2026 is Olivija Spanovskis, while the state winners were:

Olivija Spanovskis, 25, from South Australia, is a marketing executive in the experiential tourism industry. She is passionate about showcasing Australia’s most remote and spectacular destinations. Her Latvian heritage, love of travel, and deep commitment to mental well-being, resilience, and community connection shape her personal and professional journey.

Spanovskis describes herself as compassionate, loyal, kind, and hardworking, qualities she hopes will inspire younger generations. Having begun her modeling career at 14, she says overcoming challenges has fuelled her determination to uplift others and encourage them to pursue their dreams with confidence and perseverance.

As the reigning queen Jasmine Stringer concluded her year, one in which she was also crowned Miss World Oceania, the new Miss World Australia now prepares to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World Festival.

Once when asked what superpower she would choose, Olivija Spanovskis said:

“If I could have any superpower for a day, I would choose the ability to teleport around the world. This would allow me to experience the incredible diversity of our planet and immerse myself in different cultures, deepening my understanding. My goal would be to help create a more unified world where we appreciate and understand each other’s unique strengths, and collaborate to make a better future.”

And as it turns out, wishes do come true: through Miss World, Olivija will now have the opportunity not only to travel to other countries, but also to learn about them directly from her fellow Miss World contestants.
