Miss World Uganda joins efforts to revolutionize menstrual health access across the nation.

A major step forward for menstrual health in Uganda took place this week at Hotel Africana, with the official launch and fundraiser of Cleanette Uganda, the nation’s first sanitary pad dispenser and vending machine program.
Among the distinguished guests was the reigning Miss World Uganda, Trivia Elle Muhoza, who joined the Miss Uganda Foundation in celebrating this groundbreaking initiative aimed at improving access to menstrual hygiene products for women and girls across the country.

Cleanette’s innovative program seeks to ensure that sanitary pads are readily available, affordable, and discreetly accessible in schools, workplaces, and public spaces, a move expected to transform menstrual health management nationwide.
“Empowering women and girls begins with dignity,” said the Miss Uganda. “By breaking down barriers and promoting equal access, we can create lasting impact across communities.”

The event highlights Miss Uganda’s ongoing commitment to empowering women, promoting health equity, and supporting the global Beauty With a Purpose mission championed by Miss World.
