This year, Tanzania is raising the bar with a vibrant, reimagined national festival that truly captures the spirit of Miss World and Tanzania, where beauty meets purpose. From dazzling fashion and incredible talent to athleticism and powerful communication skills, this celebration promises it all.

A fierce lineup of 20 exceptional finalists will take center stage, each vying for the coveted crown in what promises to be a thrilling grand finale on April 19 at The Super Dome TZ, kicking off at 7:30 PM.

And that’s not all: the night will shine even brighter with the presence of distinguished international guests, including reigning Miss World Opal Suchata, Miss World Africa Hasset Dereje and Miss World Chairwoman Julia Morley CBE.

The countdown is on! Meet the 20 inspiring young women ready to light up the stage and compete for glory. 

Sharon Luigi Cesari, 25, represents Zanzibar, bringing a background in Business Management and experience in the hospitality sector. Passionate about using tourism as a tool for community upliftment, she combines leadership and advocacy with a love for fashion and modeling as platforms for empowerment. Her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Back to Blue” (BEST), focuses on supporting coastal women through sustainable seaweed farming and blue economy initiatives. 

Magdalena J. Mwanda, 22, represents Zanzibar and is a Doctor of Medicine student at Muhimbili University under a Presidential Scholarship. Founder of the Mimi na Jamii Foundation, she has mobilized over 200 volunteers and impacted more than 1,000 beneficiaries through health and education initiatives. Her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Her Future,” focuses on expanding access to quality education and opportunities for girls from vulnerable communities.

Norah Eustadius Justas, 21, represents the Kagera Region and is a passionate advocate for vulnerable children. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Sauti ya Matumaini” (Voice of Hope), she supports children with special needs in rural communities by providing educational resources, counseling, and safe environments. 

Editha E. Shushuu, 25, represents Shinyanga as the Lake Zone winner and is an accounting professional passionate about financial inclusion. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “She Counts,” she empowers young women with essential financial literacy skills, promoting independence, confidence, and informed decision-making. 

Shannon Mandia, 23, represents Arusha and is a graduate and entrepreneur passionate about mental health advocacy. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Strong Minds, Strong Communities,” she works to raise awareness, break stigma, and promote open conversations around mental well-being. 

Saraphina Kiyosaki, 22, represents Manyara Region and is pursuing a degree in Accountancy with Information Technology at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha. A teacher and author, she is passionate about education, which she advances through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Break the Silence,” promoting awareness, dialogue, and safe spaces around critical social issues. 

Christina H. Mmbagah, 22, represents Arusha and is a Marketing and Public Relations student at the Tanzania Institute of Accounts. An entrepreneur and advocate, she leads the Akiki Care Initiative, promoting mental health and well-being among children while providing essential support such as school supplies and nutrition. 

Joyce K. Kapizo, 21, represents Mbeya and is pursuing a degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Passionate about uplifting vulnerable communities, she leads “The Hope Bridge Project,” a Beauty With a Purpose initiative focused on empowering young people, especially orphans, through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and practical skills. 

Aneth Mwakyusa, 25, represents Njombe and holds a degree in Mass Communication. As an Intern Information Officer, she is actively engaged in public awareness and community outreach, using her voice to educate and empower. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “From Seed to Mind,” she promotes nutrition education and sustainable food practices to combat malnutrition. 

Silya M. Ng’hwani, 23, represents Iringa and is a graduate in Economics and Finance, entrepreneur, and founder of Silya’s Creations. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Silya’s Shine Space,” she empowers young people by fostering creativity, self-discovery, and entrepreneurial skills for sustainable livelihoods. 

Nouru Mamour, 25, represents Kinondoni District, Dar es Salaam and holds a diploma in Human Resource Management. A professional DJ and founder of “Roots and Dreams: Healing Through Beauty,” she is dedicated to empowering young women through education, mentorship, and advocacy. Through her Beauty With a Purpose work, she addresses issues such as early marriage and promotes opportunities for girls to build confidence, pursue education, and shape their futures.

Latricia Ian represents Dar es Salaam (Ubungo). A Client Manager at Infocus Studio, she brings strong communication and leadership skills to her advocacy work. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Nuru ya Elimu,” she empowers young people through education beyond the classroom, helping them build confidence, discover their potential, and access opportunities for a brighter future.

Brenda G. Mushi represents Ubungo District, Dar es Salaam and is a Statistics graduate from the University of Dar es Salaam. A Project Manager and Executive Personal Assistant, she brings strong leadership and organizational expertise to her advocacy. 

Loistracy A. Shimba, 22, represents Dar es Salaam (Ilala) and is an economist serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO at MeTL Group. Founder of the Binti Msaghane initiative, she is dedicated to ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) through advocacy, education, and support for survivors. 

Glory Thomas, 21, is a Business Management student at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha. A passionate advocate for girls’ rights, she founded “The Voice of Hope,” an initiative dedicated to protecting young girls and raising awareness against female genital mutilation (FGM). 

Sabina Mwaitela is a passionate advocate for equal access to education. Inspired by her own experiences growing up with limited resources, she leads her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Seeds of Tomorrow,” supporting underprivileged children through educational materials, mentorship, and emotional support. 

Jackline Nyabisi, 25,  is pursuing a Master’s degree in Financial Management. Inspired by her upbringing in Bukoba, she is deeply committed to community empowerment and founded the Mwanzo Mpya initiative, supporting widows through sustainable opportunities and dignity restoration. 

Diana L. Rutagalinda, 23, representing the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology. Founder of the Totojenga Initiative, she is dedicated to improving public school environments through infrastructure restoration, community engagement, and sustainable development. 

Paulina S. Allute represents the Central Zone and is a trained chemist with a background in innovation and leadership. Founder of “The Red Grace Project,” her Beauty With a Purpose initiative focuses on menstrual health, sanitation, and dignity, advocating for better access to supplies, safe infrastructure, and education for young women. 

Shamim H. Juma, 23, represents the Lake Zone and is an accounting professional passionate about youth empowerment and emotional healing. Through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Hope to Success Initiative,” she supports vulnerable young people in overcoming trauma by providing mentorship, life skills, and career guidance.
