Miss World Sri Lanka Prathibha Liyanaarachchi conducted a workshop with local artisans on 28 April 2026 at Meththaramaya Temple in Pannipitiya, in collaboration with the Maharagama AGA Office, as part of her Beauty With a Purpose project, Hoop The Label.

The session focused on supporting artisan communities through practical guidance on product development and market positioning. Participants reviewed their handmade products, discussing design, functionality, and market value.

The workshop included exercises to refine product concepts and strengthen brand identity. It concluded with an introduction to color theory and a music-based session aimed at encouraging creative thinking.

The initiative forms part of Prathibha Liyanaarachchi’s ongoing Beauty With a Purpose work, aimed at empowering local artisans and improving access to market opportunities.
