The first batch of Miss World Philippines 2025 candidates spent a beautiful morning at ERDA Foundation, Inc., sharing time with children through games, coloring activities, and gift-giving. The visit highlighted moments of joy and connection.

Founded in 1974 by French Jesuit Fr. Pierre Tritz, S.J., ERDA (Educational Research and Development Assistance) Foundation was established to help underprivileged Filipino children remain in school. Inspired by a 1965 study on school dropouts, Fr. Tritz, who later became a Filipino citizen, dedicated his life to empowering marginalized youth through education.

Today, ERDA continues to support children and families through educational assistance, family-centered programs, and community development initiatives, promoting holistic growth and long-term opportunity.

The foundation holds a special place in the Miss World Philippines journey, having served as the Beauty With a Purpose advocacy of Miss World Philippines 2022, Gwendolyne Fourniol, underscoring the lasting impact of compassion-driven initiatives.
