Upon her return to Thailand, Miss World Opal Suchata leads with reverence and respect

Upon returning to Thailand, reigning Miss World Opal Suchata’s first gesture was one of reverence and gratitude. Dressed in a black and modest attire in accordance with the mourning customs of the Thai people, Opal paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Mother Sirikit, who recently passed away.
In a message shared on her social media, Opal expressed her profound respect for the Queen Mother’s lifelong dedication to the Thai people, particularly her work in women’s health and the preservation of traditional Thai textiles.

“With deepest reverence and gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless grace, I devote myself to continuing Her legacy, empowering women’s health and preserving the timeless beauty of Thai textiles, so they may forever live in the hearts of the Thai people,” she wrote.
Queen Mother Sirikit, remembered as the “Mother of the Nation,” dedicated her life to humanitarian causes, cultural preservation, and the empowerment of women across Thailand.

As Miss World, Opal Suchata has been traveling across the globe, carrying with her the same values of compassion and purpose that defined Her Majesty’s life. Through her actions and example, she continues to honor a Queen who inspired Thailand and beyond, spreading the spirit of kindness and charity wherever her Beauty With a Purpose journey takes her.
