Charlotte Boonstra integrates neuromarketing studies into purpose-driven project focused on behavioral change

Miss World Netherlands, Charlotte Boonstra, has introduced Plant It Forward, a project designed to encourage emotional engagement and responsibility through storytelling and hands-on experience.

Boonstra explained that the initiative is built on the idea that meaningful impact begins with emotion rather than logic. Drawing from her studies in neuromarketing and behavioral psychology, she is exploring how activating emotional responses can lead to genuine behavioral change.

Boonstra describes it as a story that children can physically hold, transforming curiosity into responsibility and small actions into meaningful contributions.

As part of her academic journey, she is using the initiative as a living case study, continuously testing and refining strategies to better understand how awareness can evolve into action. Through this approach, the reigning Miss World Netherlands aims to demonstrate how emotional connection can inspire long-term positive impact.
