Montenegro’s first Miss World Quarter-Finalist continues her heartfelt mission across her country

After making history as the first woman from Montenegro to reach the Quarter-Finals at the Miss World Festival, in 2025, reigning Miss World Montenegro Andrea Nikolić has returned home not to rest on laurels, but to keep on working hard and making a difference. And her compass points firmly toward inclusion.

In recent weeks, Andrea has carried forward the spirit of Beauty With a Purpose, visiting multiple institutions dedicated to children and adults with developmental disabilities across Montenegro.

At the Day Care Center in Podgorica, Andrea spent time with children and youth, listening to staff members speak about daily challenges and long-term needs.

New Year gift packages were distributed to every child, but more importantly, conversations were exchanged, and genuine connection filled the room.

In the historic town of Cetinje, Andrea was joined by celebrated Montenegrin athlete Petar Kapisoda at the Public Institution Day Care Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities.

Together, they distributed New Year packages and engaged with the center’s users, learning about their everyday realities.

Andrea expressed admiration for the professionalism of the staff and the extraordinary warmth of the children. She emphasized that true role models are those who demonstrate solidarity through action, not words alone.

In Golubovci, Andrea joined children in creative workshops, painting, crafting decorations, and participating in festive activities.

She believes that every child deserves to be seen and to have the opportunity to develop their talents.

Miss World Montenegro reiterated her commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen access to healthcare, education, and social integration for persons with disabilities across Montenegro.

In a symbolic moment, Andrea returned to her former elementary school, “Dr Dragiša Ivanović,” surprising fifth-grade students with a festive outing to the Podgorica market. Supported by local partners, including the football club Budućnost, New Year gifts were distributed, and the day unfolded with music, games, and celebration.

The visit bridged past and present. A former student who once sat at those desks now stands as a national ambassador for compassion.

Andrea Nikolić’s journey did not end with her historic Quarter-Final placement at Miss World. In many ways, it began there.

Through each visit, each workshop, each shared smile, she continues to embody the essence of Beauty With a Purpose.
