Visit highlights Beauty With a Purpose project and Mexico’s April 30 Children’s Day observance

Cassandra García Olea, Miss World Mexico, took part in a Children’s Day initiative on April 30 at the Hospital del Niño Morelense.

The visit formed part of her Beauty With a Purpose project and included activities under the initiative “Regala una Sonrisa” (Gift a Smile). García Olea shared that the visit was personal, as she received care at the same hospital during her childhood.

The project was carried out with the support of partners and organizations involved in the initiative, alongside the Miss Mexico Organization and local collaborators.

Children’s Day in Mexico is observed annually on April 30. The date was established in 1924 following the adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child during the presidency of Álvaro Obregón. The aim is to promote children’s rights, welfare, and well-being, with schools and institutions across the country organizing activities dedicated to children.
