The newly crowned Miss World Mauritius 2026 continues her community work, meeting students and educators

Miss World Mauritius 2026, Shreeya Bokhoree, recently visited a local educational institution in Mauritius, where she met with students, teachers, and members of the school’s community as part of her ongoing engagement efforts following her national title victory.
Bokhoree described the experience as both inspiring and rewarding.
“It was truly a pleasure and an honor to discover the incredible work being done at the school. I was deeply impressed by the students; their talent, determination, and ambition are inspiring,” she said.
She also paid tribute to the educators and staff members who dedicate themselves to shaping the next generation.
“A special congratulations as well to the dedicated teachers and staff whose passion and commitment make such a meaningful difference every day. Thank you for such a warm and enriching experience.”
The visit also received praise from representatives of the organization she met, who commended the young ambassador’s dedication to making a difference through her advocacy work.
One representative described Bokhoree as “a remarkable young woman” whose passion, determination, and commitment to positive change were evident throughout their discussions. They were impressed by her desire to create impact through her project and noted that she represents leadership and compassion.
Bokhoree, 23, was crowned Miss World Mauritius 2026 during the 55th edition of the national event held at Club Med Pointe-aux-Canonniers.
