Taanusiya continues to promote social initiatives ahead of the Miss World Festival, set to take place in Vietnam from August 9 to September 5, 2026.

The reigning Miss World Malaysia, Taanusiya Chetty, continues to expand her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Be The Change Malaysia,” with new education and emotional intelligence initiatives focused on underserved communities.

The project supports children through education, mentorship, and community-based programs. Taanusiya recently introduced “Empowering Minds by 2028,” an initiative aimed at promoting emotional intelligence across ASEAN countries and beyond. The program focuses on helping individuals understand emotions, develop empathy, and strengthen mental wellbeing in schools, communities, and organizations.

As part of the initiative, Taanusiya is also launching a self-development podcast based on personal experiences. The podcast will share emotional intelligence techniques designed to support mental strength, personal growth, and development.

She has also announced the opening ceremony of Sekolah Dalam Hospital Orang Asli Gombak under Project CAHAYA, described as the first Indigenous School in a Hospital in Malaysia. The initiative was created to support access to education for Orang Asli children receiving hospital care.

According to Taanusiya, the project also aims to build a wider support network by encouraging volunteers and community members to participate in future activities linked to education and social development.
