Miss World Kenya Ivy Trizah Muhenje joined environmental partners to celebrate World Environment Day in Nairobi’s Karura Forest, taking part in a conservation initiative focused on protecting the area’s river ecosystems.

Working alongside the Kenya Forest Service and Friends of Karura, the group dedicated the day to cleaning and restoring sections of the forest.

Ivy described it as an honor to spend World Environment Day in one of the country’s most important green spaces, emphasizing that protecting the environment is both a responsibility and a privilege.

Karura Forest, one of Nairobi’s largest urban forests, plays a vital role in biodiversity conservation, water catchment protection, and recreation. 

Miss World Kenya will represent her country at the 75th Miss World Festival, set to take place in Vietnam later this year, from August 9 to September 5.
