Kenny praised the emotional new drama Sunphlowers at its Dublin premiere

Miss Ireland 2025, Caoimhe Kenny, was among the special guests at the screening of the new Irish film Sunphlowers, held at the Savoy Cinema in Dublin. The event gathered well-known figures from Irish society alongside cast members Patrick Bergin and Anne McCrudden.
Sunphlowers, written and directed by Dave Byrne, follows the story of Catherine, a woman facing grief, rural isolation, financial hardship, and the threat of organized crime while caring for her three adult children.

Sharing her impressions, Caoimhe Kenny said: “What a wonderful evening at the screening of Sunphlowers at The Savoy, starring Anne McCrudden and Patrick Bergin. A thought-provoking film, beautifully filled with emotion, and made even more special by the gorgeous title track from Sibeál, that she performed live.”

The film is set for nationwide release on September 26 and will also be featured at the Luxembourg British & Irish Film Festival this month.
