Initiative supports cancer relief in Gibraltar and education for children in Ghana.

Four years after losing her sister Jessie to cancer, Julia Horne, Miss World Gibraltar, has launched a special initiative to honor her memory while supporting others facing the disease. The project introduces the “Love, Jessie Healing Bracelet Collection,” a charitable line of bracelets created as part of her ongoing Beauty With a Purpose advocacy.
The bracelets were first introduced on what would have been Jessie’s 21st birthday, transforming personal grief into a mission to help others. On the fourth anniversary of her sister’s passing, Julia expanded the initiative with a new collection designed as a symbol of healing and hope.
Each bracelet is made with stones chosen for their meaning. Rose Quartz represents self-worth, love, and kindness; Picture Jasper symbolizes hope, grounding, and relief from anxiety; and Labradorite reflects balance, emotional healing, and strength. According to Julia, the pieces are meant to serve as reminders that healing takes time and that love continues beyond loss.
All profits from the collection will be donated to Cancer Relief Gibraltar and Help Me Learn Africa, supporting both families affected by cancer and educational opportunities for children in Ghana. The bracelets are available for £20, with pre-orders open through direct message or via the account @cosyandchic_homeware, with delivery expected in approximately four weeks.
Through the project, Julia hopes Jessie’s story will continue to raise awareness about cancer while also helping create opportunities and support for those who need it most.
