Miss World Canada, Angelina Fan, recently joined students, staff, parents, and volunteers at The Scott Mission’s after-school program for a special end-of-term barbecue celebration.

Fan praised the young people who stepped forward to help serve others during the event, noting that together they provided hundreds of meals for families attending the gathering. The community initiative highlighted the importance of service and teamwork.

Fan said she cherishes the time she spends with the children and staff at the program, adding that cooking is one of her favorite ways to connect with others.

As Miss World Canada, Angelina Fan continues to support community-focused initiatives and volunteer efforts while preparing for the 75th Anniversary Miss World Festival, set to take place in Vietnam, August 9 to September 5.
