An actress, communicator, and author of a book, Alina uses her platform to promote social responsibility.

Alina Akselrad, 27, from Cordoba, has been crowned as Miss World Argentina 2025. She will represent Argentina at the 73rd Miss World Festival later this year.
An actress, communicator, and author of the book “Abraza tu poder” (Embrace Your Power), Alina uses her platform to promote social responsibility, education, and a culture of peace. Her work is rooted in advocacy and empowerment, particularly focused on creating meaningful change within communities.

She holds a certification in Children’s Rights from Harvard University, a foundation that strengthened the academic and ethical framework of her social initiative, Abraza tu Poder. Through this platform, Alina leads four key community projects:
• Sanando el Mundo (Healing the World), addressing the prevention of violence against children;
• Líderes de la Vida (Leaders of Life), recognizing resilient children facing serious health challenges;
• Tacos y Palabras al Poder, focused on empowering women in vulnerable and confined environments;
• Asistencia a Merenderos Infantiles, supporting children in situations of social and economic vulnerability.

Fluent in English, with advanced studies completed at Fordham University in New York, Alina is passionate about writing, dance, and cultural exchange. She finds inspiration in everyday moments, nature, and meaningful human connections.

Alina is particularly happy for sharing this special moment with her grandmother:
“I am happy because I was able to share this joy with my grandmother, my yaya! She was always in the front row, proudly showing off her granddaughter… and it broke my heart to think that maybe she no longer remembered this great passion we share because of her illness. But seeing the crown was enough for us to melt into a hug full of laughter and proud glances. I love you, my dear granny, and I’m so happy to share this achievement with you”.
Akselrad succeeds Guadalupe Alomar, who last May placed among Miss World’s Top 20 semi-finalists (Top 5 in the Americas & Caribbean), Argentina’s highest placement in 38 years.
