Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to take part in one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, having been announced as one of the presenters at the 2026 Academy Awards, or simply the Oscars.  

The global star will join a prestigious lineup of presenters that includes Anne Hathaway and Robert Downey Jr.. 

Before becoming a global film and television icon, Priyanka Chopra first gained worldwide recognition when she was crowned Miss World in 2000, a title that launched her remarkable journey from Beauty With a Purpose to Hollywood. 

Priyanka Chopra is currently starring in the action thriller series Citadel on Amazon Prime Video, where she plays elite spy Nadia Sinh. The high-profile global production has become one of the platform’s flagship franchises, with multiple international spin-offs expanding the Citadel universe and further cementing Priyanka’s position as one of the most prominent global stars to emerge from the pageant world. 

The 98th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

The ceremony is expected to attract millions of viewers worldwide as the film industry gathers once again for its most prestigious night.
