Miss Wales 2026 Ellie Corcoran, who will represent Wales at the 74th Miss World Festival, in Tanzania, in 2027, has presented £12,000 in donations to organizations supporting women across Wales, following a collective Beauty With a Purpose fundraising effort by this year’s finalists.

The funds were distributed among several groups providing essential services, including North Wales Women’s Centre, Stori, RASA (Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre), DASU (Domestic Abuse Safety Unit), and Gorwel. The organizations offer a range of support, from housing and refuge services to counseling, skills development, and training programs.

Corcoran documented her North Wales tour, which included visits to Gwynedd and Ynys Môn, where she met with local organizations and highlighted their work supporting women in need.

As part of the initiative, she also appeared on BBC Radio Wales to raise awareness of the tour and the services available to women across the region. During the interview, she emphasized the role of Miss World titleholders and hopefuls in advocating for social causes and supporting communities.

The tour began at the North Wales Women’s Centre in Rhyl, where Corcoran learned about programs focused on rehabilitation and empowerment, including digital skills training and employment preparation.

The final stop took place at Gorwel in Llangefni, a service supporting women facing domestic abuse and homelessness. Funds raised will contribute to the organization’s hardship fund, providing essential items and support for those in need.

The Miss Wales Organization said the initiative shows its ongoing commitment to using Beauty With a Purpose to support communities and drive meaningful impact across the country.
