Miss Scotland visits St Andrew’s Hospice as part of her ongoing Beauty With a Purpose journey.

Miss Scotland, Eilidh MacDonald, recently spent meaningful time at St Andrew’s Hospice, where she met with patients and staff, gaining a deeper appreciation for the compassion and dedication shown within the facility.

During her visit, Eilidh met Je, a patient whose warmth and strength left a lasting impression. Reflecting on the experience, she shared how hearing from Je and her family about the exceptional care provided by the hospice team was both moving and inspiring.

The visit formed part of Eilidh’s ongoing Beauty With a Purpose journey, reinforcing the importance of kindness, empathy, and human connection in healthcare settings. By spending time with patients and listening to their stories, she highlighted the vital role hospices play in offering comfort, dignity, and support to individuals and their families.
