Cassandra García Olea, once a patient herself, returns to the hospital as Miss Mexico to bring hope, joy, and inspiration to children in Morelos

As part of her Beauty with a Purpose commitment, Cassandra Garcia Olea, Miss Mexico, took part in a heartwarming Christmas celebration with children at the Morelos Childre’s Hospital and the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic, a place that holds special meaning for her, as she herself received treatment there.
The annual festivities transformed the hospital into a space of joy and togetherness, with recreational activities designed to nurture respect, peace, and love among patients, families, and staff. One of the highlights of the day was a performance of The Nutcracker ballet, bringing smiles and wonder to the young audience.

Accompanied by hospital doctors, Miss Mexico then distributed toys, food, desserts, and plenty of laughter to each child, ensuring the Christmas spirit reached every corner of the wards.
Having once been a patient at the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic, Cassandra understands firsthand the importance of safe, compassionate spaces that promote unity and empathy. Her visit served as a message of hope, standing as an inspiration to hundreds of children across Morelos who continue to dream big, even in the face of adversity.
