Days after being crowned Miss Lebanon 2025, Perla Harb was welcomed with pride and joy in her hometown of Al-Maamriyah, a small Christian village near Sidon in South Lebanon.

The community organized a warm celebration as Perla arrived, with music, flowers, flags, and banners reading “Mabrouk Perla Harb” (“Congratulations, Perla Harb”) and “The Pride of Al-Maamriyah.” Children and elders lined the streets to greet her, cheering and taking photos as she smiled and waved from a decorated car.

In videos shared on social media, Perla appears visibly moved, thanking everyone for their support. Local leaders described her victory as “a source of joy and inspiration for all Lebanese youth.”

Al-Maamriyah, located in the district of Sidon, is a quiet hilltop village known for its olive groves, fig trees, and historic Maronite Christian heritage. Though small, it is now famous as the birthplace of the country’s new representative at Miss World.

Perla will carry the Lebanese flag at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World, in 2025.
