Reigning Miss Jamaica World Nevaeh Kyecia Allen has launched her Beauty With a Purpose initiative, A Mindful Future, during a visit to the Woodlawn School of Special Education in Mandeville, Manchester.

The project aims to raise awareness and expand support for children with intellectual disabilities across Jamaica, working directly with schools and communities. The launch event marked the beginning of a series of activities designed to promote inclusion, education, and long-term empowerment.

Developed in partnership with the Jamaica Association on Intellectual Disabilities (JAID), the initiative focuses on strengthening support systems within schools while encouraging greater national attention to the needs of children with developmental challenges. 

Allen, 19, is a business administration student at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean and was crowned Miss Jamaica World earlier this year. She is set to represent Jamaica at the 73rd Miss World Festival, the organization’s 75th anniversary edition, to be held in Vietnam.
