María de los Ángeles Ndong Asangono, 25, is the new Miss World Equatorial Guinea.
She is currently combining her academic pursuits with social advocacy through her project, “Pequeñas Luces” (Little Lights), an initiative focused on supporting vulnerable children in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
Nfono Asangono is studying Clinical Laboratory and Biomedical Sciences while dedicating significant efforts to promoting child welfare and protection.
Through “Little Lights,” she works to raise awareness about the importance of creating safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for children. The initiative engages communities through awareness campaigns, social activities, and partnerships with local professionals and organizations. Its efforts focus on providing emotional support, promoting children’s rights, and improving access to essential resources for young people facing difficult circumstances.
María de los Ángeles will represent Equatorial Guinea at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World, from August 9 to September 5, in Vietnam.
