Louisette Cadic N’Guessan of San-Pédro was crowned Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2026 on Saturday night, winning the 30th edition of the national pageant organized by the Comité Miss Côte d’Ivoire (COMICI) at the Parc des Expositions Convention Center in Abidjan.  

The 26-year-old, who holds a degree in Business Management and has built a career as an actress and digital content creator, succeeded Fatima Koné, who’s yet to represent her country at Miss World 2026, in Vietnam, after emerging victorious from a field of finalists representing regions across Côte d’Ivoire. Her triumph also marks a historic moment for San-Pédro, which celebrates its first-ever Miss Côte d’Ivoire title.  

The runners-up were:

* 1st Runner-up: Carine N’Guessan (Moronou)

* 2nd Runner-up: Nanan Fofana (Province France)

The Top 5 was completed by Cyntiche Gbamélé (N’Zi) and Sara Gnogan (Sud-Comoé).  

During her reign, N’Guessan has pledged to focus on raising awareness about cyberbullying, a cause she says is deeply personal after experiencing online harassment herself. She said she intends to use her platform to encourage victims to speak out and to promote responsible digital behavior.  

N’Guessan previously competed in the Miss Côte d’Ivoire system in 2021, and has since gained recognition as an actress in Ivorian television and as one of the country’s most-followed content creators on TikTok.  

As the newly crowned Miss Côte d’Ivoire, Louisette N’Guessan is expected to represent her country at the 74th Miss World Festival in Tanzania, in May of 2027, continuing Côte d’Ivoire’s participation in the Miss World organization under COMICI.
