The Miss World Cayman Islands Committee has crowned 21-year-old Kristianna Gordon of West Bay as Miss World Cayman Islands 2026. As no national pageant was held in 2025, the Committee selected its representative for the 2026 Miss World Festival through a process of nominations and interviews. Gordon was chosen for her natural charisma, strong sense of purpose, and her ability to connect meaningfully with youth-focused issues. She will represent the Cayman Islands at the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World Festival, to be held in Vietnam this summer.

A graduate of St. Ignatius Catholic School, Gordon completed her A-Levels in 2022 and has professional experience with Maples Financial Services’ Global Entity Services team. She has actively volunteered with organizations such as the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands, the Humane Society, and community groups abroad, while also supporting her elderly grandparents. Gordon plans to pursue a degree in psychology, focusing on emotional development, and has a strong passion for dance, art, digital storytelling, and DJing.

Her Beauty with a Purpose platform, Unsilenced, focuses on child protection, consent, and emotional awareness among young people in the Cayman Islands. The initiative is designed to deliver age-appropriate workshops for youth aged 10 to 16 through partnerships with schools, church youth groups, and community organizations. Through this work, Gordon aims to create safe, guided spaces for discussions around personal boundaries, self-worth, and the importance of speaking up.

“Through Unsilenced, I want young people to understand their boundaries, their worth, and that they should never feel afraid to speak up. I want to create spaces where they feel supported, heard, and empowered. Representing the Cayman Islands is an honor, and I hope to make my country proud while advocating for issues that affect our youth,” Gordon said.

Gordon also continues a distinguished Caymanian pageant legacy. She is the granddaughter of Patrick and Celeste Broderick, widely recognized for their decades of leadership as national franchise holders for Miss World in the Cayman Islands. Her mother, Nicole Broderick Gordon, was crowned Miss Florida Teen USA 1998, reflecting a family tradition of excellence in pageantry and representation. Building on this legacy, Gordon steps forward with clarity of purpose and a commitment to creating her own impact through advocacy and service.

Miss World Cayman Islands National Director Pamela Ebanks-Small praised Gordon’s dedication to youth advocacy, stating, “We are excited for Kristianna to begin her journey as Miss World Cayman Islands 2026. She demonstrates thoughtfulness, emotional intelligence, and a genuine commitment to youth empowerment. We trust her to represent the Cayman Islands with integrity, confidence, and grace on the international stage, especially through her Beauty with a Purpose initiative focused on educating youth about personal boundaries.”

Ebanks-Small also expressed her gratitude to outgoing titleholder Jada Ramoon, a Head-to-Head finalist at the 72nd Miss World Festival, held in Telangana last year. “We are so proud of Jada’s accomplishments this past year, especially her history-making performance at the Miss World competition in India. She has made such an impact through her community service work at schools and local events, highlighting her Beauty with a Purpose initiative, in which she openly discussed her struggles with anxiety and depression. Thank you, Jada, for a significant year as our Queen,” she added.

As Miss World Cayman Islands, Gordon will serve as a national ambassador, participate in community initiatives, and continue developing her Unsilenced platform as she prepares for the Miss World competition. The Cayman Islands first competed at the Miss World Festival in 1977, represented by Patricia Jackson Patiño. The country’s best result came in 1982, when Maureen Theresa Lewis, a favourite among the press, secured a place in the Top 15 semi-finalists when competing in London.
