Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata to Attend Miss Indonesia as Her First Global Stop

Jakarta, Indonesia – The newly crowned Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, has arrived in Indonesia, the first international destination of her reign, marking the beginning of a journey filled with purpose. She arrived in Jakarta to attend the highly anticipated grand finale of the Miss Indonesia 2025 contest as a guest of honor.
Upon landing at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, Opal was warmly welcomed by the Miss Indonesia Organization. The reigning Miss World was greeted with flowers, smiles, and sincere enthusiasm, setting the tone for what promises to be an impactful visit.

Shortly after her arrival, Opal was invited for an exclusive tour of the iNews Media Office, where she was accompanied by prominent Indonesian leaders, including Mrs. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, the Indonesian Miss World License Holder, Mrs. Angela H. Tanoesoedibjo, and reigning Miss Indonesia, Monica Kezia. During the visit, Opal engaged with the media team, explored the facilities, and took part in local interviews. She expressed deep admiration for the professionalism and innovation of Indonesia’s media landscape, praising the warm hospitality extended to her throughout.

“The kindness and creativity I’ve seen here reflect the spirit of the Indonesian people,” Opal said, impressed by the country’s welcoming atmosphere and dedication to excellence.
Opal and Monica will appear together at a press conference on Tuesday, July 8, ahead of the Miss Indonesia 2025 grand finale the following day.
The newly crowned Miss Indonesia will succeed Monica Kezia and go on to represent Indonesia at the 73rd Miss World Festival, scheduled for 2026.
