On the evening of Saturday, September 27, Miss World and the Continental Representatives, together with Julia Morley CBE, shared moving moments with orphaned children of Hyderabad at “Hope in Action: Continuing Charity with Miss World”, an event held at the Trident Hyderabad, graciously hosted by Dr. Ch. Ramakrishna, Managing Director of Fortune Hospitality and Infra LLP.

The evening began with heartfelt words from Sri. D. Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, and Sri. Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Prohibition & Excise, Tourism & Culture, and Archaeology, who praised the ongoing partnership with Miss World in advancing Beauty With a Purpose and social good in Telangana.

Julia Morley CBE then expressed her joy at returning to Telangana and being able to share smiles and precious moments with the children. Reigning Miss World Opal Suchata Chuangsri spoke with gratitude, noting that although she and her Miss World sisters came to give affection and attention to the children, it is truly the children who inspire them. She reminded everyone that obstacles, whether blindness or the loss of parents, should never define or limit them, and encouraged them to always believe in their dreams.

Each of the Continental Representatives also expressed their tremendous joy and gratitude for being part of such a meaningful evening. Together with Julia Morley, the seven Miss World titleholders walked among the children’s tables, listening to their stories, taking selfies, exchanging hugs, and filling the room with warmth and laughter.

The evening concluded with a special dinner, followed by the distribution of gifts to every child, ensuring that they went home not only with presents in hand, but also with memories of love and hope that will remain with them forever.
