Fatoumata Diop, 26, has been crowned Miss World Senegal 2026 following the national final held on 6 July at the Centre Culturel Blaise Senghor in Dakar. She will represent Senegal at the Miss World Festival, which will take place in Vietnam from August 9 to September 5, culminating in the Grand Final in Nha Trang.  

A marketing strategist, actress, screenwriter and author of several books exploring healing, human emotions and self-discovery, Fatoumata is also a dedicated advocate for mental health awareness. Through her work, she seeks to reduce stigma while encouraging education, dialogue and support for young people.

Nine women competed for the title.
