Miss World China Dong Yifei has dedicated the past eight years to a Beauty With a Purpose initiative that brings arts education and essential supplies to children living in remote, high altitude regions of western China.

Working with the China Children and Teenagers’ Cultural and Art Foundation through the Super Model Aesthetic Public Welfare Program, Dong has participated in volunteer missions covering more than 4,000 kilometers across the Hengduan Mountains, helping deliver approximately 25 tons of supplies to rural primary schools.

During these visits, she teaches classes in runway modeling, painting, arts and crafts, hairdressing, dance, and sports, encouraging children to develop confidence, creativity, and artistic expression.

Dong also documents the journeys through photographs and videos to raise awareness of the importance of equal access to arts education and to encourage continued support for children in isolated mountain communities.

Her Beauty With a Purpose project supports remote rural schools through the Rural Cultural Run-Tong Project, combining educational opportunities with community outreach to help create lasting positive impact.

She will represent China at the 75th Anniversary edition of Miss World in Vietnam, August 9 to September 5.
