Yesterday, I listened to our beautiful Miss. Sri Lanka Anudi, speaking about her journey and the BWAP project. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country but we are still making progress when it comes to period poverty. The taxes on sanitary products is very high. The lack of education in the specific scope is also a huge challenge. Through her project she has conducted a number of workshops and donated period products, specially for vulnerable and marginalised communities. I loved her confidence and she is making us proud.
