As a future doctor and founder of Exeter Street Doctors, I have seen firsthand the impact of crime - especially knife violence. I deeply value the power of prevention through policing and community engagement. The Telangana police established in 1847, and now 80,000 strong, expemplify dedication and innovation. With an average response time of 6 minutes and a 16% reduction in crime, they are building the foundations of a safer society. From the ‘She Teams’ supporting women, to the vigilant canines on the ground and eagles guarding the skies from unregistered drones, their commitment to public safety is truly forward-thinking. We ended the day at the Secretariat, with a spectacular drone show and warm conversations over high tea. Grateful for the hospitality, insight and inspiration 🙏🏻 Telangana, where dreams are crowned 👑
