Menstrual health is rarely talked about in Sri Lanka. Menstruation is seen as something shameful and dirty in Sri Lanka. It is against this backdrop that Anudi started talking about it. Anudi's goal is to normalize menstruation in Sri Lanka. Through the Saheli Foundation, she educates women about menstrual health and distributes sanitary products. I also have a bad experience in this regard. One day when I was in school, I had my period. I did not know about it. When a group of boys in my class saw it, they laughed at me and made fun of me. I was very embarrassed. It is a dark memory in my life. So now you understand why menstruation should be normalized in Sri Lanka. That is what is happening through the Saheli Foundation.
