I have visited Hyderabad several times, the last time being 14 years ago when I was serving at the Deputy High Commission of Sri Lanka in Chennai. My memories bring back the rich and close cultural ties between Sri Lanka and Telangana, especially in light of Miss World 2025 and our own Miss Sri Lanka, Anudi Gunasekara. She is not just an ordinary beauty queen; her sharp, elegant, and vibrant personality reminds me of former Miss World Aishwarya Rai. Anudi possesses the same unique and captivating charm.
