A little about my @missworld national costume… In Scotland, our national dress is a kilt. Kilts are traditionally made of pure wool and are woven in the traditional tartan of your clan or family. My family name is ‘Scott’ and so the tartan I am wearing on my kilt is one exclusive to my name and heritage which made this moment even more special to me as it’s not just representing my country but my family. Historically kilts were worn as everyday attire especially in the highlands but in modern times are generally reserved for special occasions. What could be more of a special occasion than representing my beautiful country at the opening ceremony of the 72nd Miss World festival in India?
