From being the first Indigenous woman to win Miss Canada to using my platform to inspire and uplift Native girls across the country, it’s been a path filled with purpose, passion, and pride. Now, standing here at @missworld in Telangana, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. The hospitality in India has been unmatched, and my heart is so full. One of my favourite memories? Winning bronze in the Miss World badminton tournament, in none other than the badminton capital of India, Hyderabad! But beyond the achievements, it’s the beautiful friendships I’ve made with 107 incredible women from around the world that I’ll carry with me forever.
