Grimsby is a town very often overlooked by the rest of the country, not only because of its reputation, but it's name doesn't make it stand out as being a place of beauty. But the people within Grimsby is where it's beauty comes from! Grimsby is so much more than a 'Grim place', but it is a community. Throughout my time as Miss Lincolnshire and the We Do Ethical Queen, I have advocated for Grimsby to be shown for what it is, because 'Grimsby is Great!'. Don't let the name fool you; we have had so many talents come from in our small town and so many wonderful projects, businesses and charities that want to make a positive impact on the rest of the community and the country. For me, I like to think I come under this category.
