The inspiration behind Empower Hope comes from someone very special to me—my grandmother. For over 25 years, she dedicated her life to working in homeless shelters through the Salvation Army, offering support and care to those in need. Her commitment to helping others left a profound impact on me, and it was her example of selflessness and compassion that led me to create Empower Hope. Through this project, I’ve had the privilege of speaking at schools, where I’ve shared my story and encouraged young people to get involved and offer their own support to those who need it most. It’s been incredibly rewarding to motivate others to take action and make a difference, just as my grandmother did for so many. Empower Hope is about honoring her legacy while creating real, tangible change. I’ve raised over €20,000 for relief efforts in Turkey, funds that have gone towards providing education and organizing activities for children. I’ve also worked to raise awareness through initiatives like the Elephant Parade, where art meets conservation, and collaborated with Let’s Do Goods, a company that designs socks to give back to people in need. These efforts are just a few examples of how I’m carrying forward my grandmother’s mission of making a difference in the lives of others. But this journey is not just about giving back. It’s about sparking hope and empowering individuals to believe that one act of kindness can inspire a ripple effect of positive change.
